Configuring Backend Systems¶
Depending on the existing user authentiation you can use Keycloak as proxy (identity broker) by connecting it to the backend system.
This chapter deals with the following:

Active Directory (AD), which also includes other LDAP servers

Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) via SAML 2.0 protocol
Keycloak supports several backend systems. For details on this, see Keycloak Identity Brokering and Keycloak User Storage Federation.
Configuring IDP Manually¶
If you do not need the Keykloak provided by SEAL System, because you already use an identity provider, you have to configure your IDP manually to make it support the various SEAL clients.
